Years ago we threw a Ocean Hopper two tube regen receiver in the dump ...

It was a receiver kit radio sold by Allied Radio in the 1950's ...

One recently sold for $300.00 on eBay ....

Original cost ... $10.95...

This was our first station with a 50L6 single tube xtal controlled xmtr ... 
4 watts ...

We recently rebuilt this transmitter ...from April 1956 CQ ...  still great 
fun on the bands ...
