You cannot use a dimmer type switch with the
replacements, but a "normal" off-on type of switch
works fine.

Also, it seems to depend on the brand as to how much
"hash" is put out by the bulbs.  I have replaced a
number of bulbs in my house with the fluorescent types
and don't have a bit of interference anywhere from 160
meters through 70 cm.
