Oh I didn't know that the HT-44/SX-117 could be crystalled up for the WARC bands, what a very pleasant surprise!!  While I've never been on 12 meters, 17 meter SSB is very enjoyable and 30 meter cw is alot fun as well.  

Ok on the sensitivity from 85 Kc to 3 Mc.  I'm still surprised that it offers that much sensitivity way down there in the MF and LF bands.  I'm pretty sure the SX-117 that I'm getting is crystalled starting at 500 Kc and up to 2 Mc.

Yeah I understood what you said about the out of band transmission thing.  I wouldn't be able to tune the amplifier for resonance, and I wouldn't be heard at all on "News Talk 750",  but I sure could wreck the finals anyway :->  I'll be careful.
