Yes, the chassis did come out OK, thanks to everybody who helped out.  I had 
the idea that the cabinet might be in two pieces so that it could clear the 
chassis from the back as did my SX-100, but was I ever wrong!  I can see that 
replacing the molded paper caps will be kinda tough in the RF deck in and around 
the shielding partitions.  My boatanchor experience consists of overhauling a 
little 5R10A, then working up to the SX-100, and finally a NC-183D.  All 
turned out well, but this big puppy will definitely be more of a challenge.
