Rodney is right, anything that isn't in a tuned circuit should be replaced. 
It doesn''t make any difference any more, e.g. tiny chiefs, black beautys, etc. 
Those caps are all 50+ years old and all dried out. I completely recapped a 
NC 300 I restored and boy what a difference it made. I dare say the set plays 
as good as it did when new ( after doing an alignment also ).
