Thanks to all that responded re my question concerning capacitor 
identification. As it turns out the 2u2 designation is a 2.2MF cap.

You guys might want to go to your opening net page and enter "capacitor 
identification".  There is a web site that is listed first or second that shows 
just about every possible way caps are identified along with pictures of 
examples. The site says there are no international conventions to unify cap IDs and 
that the various makers are all using various means to identify their stuff 
largely due to size restrictions of the part itself.  Of course I am talking about 
currently produced modern  caps only.

Apparently, resistors are changing also - no longer any room for the stripes.
