For those who place a high value on original condition (many do and selling
prices reflect this) a reproduction part will never be quite like having a good
original. Probably the best solution is to acquire a few parts or donor sets
whenever they are offered for a reasonable price to have proper replacement
parts on hand for when they are needed. If you are a casual collector or
beginning hobbyist this might not be very practical but for the advanced collector it
is usually the right thing to do. Many parts are the same across product
lines so donor sets can be quite useful to have around. The more you hang around
this hobby the more you learn how to locate whatever you need to do the job
properly. This is my opinion only and not meant to offend those who prefer to fix
up their equipment in other ways.

Regards, Greg
