[Hallicrafters] SX-100 for $1100 ?

Hey guys...Just so you know, that was my SX-100 on ebay that went for $1100+.  I was certainly pleased with the price.  However, when I got out the calculator and figured the price I paid for the original non-restored receiver, the shipping to get it to me and the many dozens of hours I spent restoring it...I made $8.34 an hour.  Not bad!  But my day job pays considerably more.
 
I love restoring these things, but I didn't steal money from anyone.
