I just purchased a HP 606A signal generator and it seems to work
good except the bandswitch was stuck (the unit had rested on a
shelve for several years).  I finally got the osc. cage off (some of
the allen head screws are hard to get at) and by using
oil I can now move the bandswitch turret.  Is this a common problem?
Is there a solution besides adding oil?  Thanks.
