[Hallicrafters] Archive saving

Hi Dave --

Microsoft Outlook will let you have multiple mailbags, but outlook express
will not. At least I've never found a way to do it in Express.

We use Outlook (not Outlook Express) at the office. When we go on business
trips, I just save my entire mailbag, and pop it onto the laptop, and
reverse the process when I get back home.

I faced the same problem you now face last year. I ended up saving all the
mail messages as text file, and just putting them in my radio directoy.
The radio directory gets backed up onto CD-ROM regularly. I combined
threads into the same text file.

Now, instead of saving mail messages into seperate mail folders, is I
immediately save them as text files.

Also, remember that in 20 years there's no guarantee that Outlook Express
mail files will be readable anylonger, unless you have a boat anchor 3 GHz
PC !!!! I submit that plain old ASCII file will !!
