Outlook Express is easier to save and copy mail that Outlook.

You just follow the trail to the outlook express.
Under XP that is under Documents and Settings\(Account name such as
Administrator)\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ (big long ID
number)\Microsoft\ Outlook Express\

This Outlook Express folder which is not in program files contains all you
mail, mail accounts and folders. You simply copy the folder, or directory
as I still call them to where ever you wish. If you don't want all the
stuff, then go into the Outlook Express Folder and just copy the files that
you wish to keep.

When you say mailbags I don't know what you mean. I have 12 e-mail accounts
that all feed into Outlook Express. That mail get filtered into 40 different
folders such as Amateur radio, hallicrafters, aviation...etc... I've found
it to be easier to use and more flexible than Outlook. If you want to keep
the account mail separate you create rules that put the different account
mail into different folders.

In my case any mail with [Hallicrafters} in the subject line goes to the
Hallicrafters folder.
