[Hallicrafters] HT-44 carrier balance

Hello Bob, Bill and Hallicrafters fans.  Thanks for the
feedback on ur experiences with HT-xx carrier suppression
problems.  It was indeed the .01 caps on the Bal Mod
cathodes.  I put my scope on one of the cathode pins and
waited.  Sure 'nuff, when the carrier popped up to 50 watts
one of the bypassed cathodes had tons of RF on it.  Replaced
that .01 (actually replaced all four) and the carrier is now
gone... which is a good thing!  Thanks again.  73,
