The R-100 manual I have says Freq. Range 90-1500 KC; Contract #33173;
date 6-28-40; Order #80-1445; Federal Telegraph Co. The manual also
includes the Receiver Power Pack, GF-100.
They must have increased the frequency range with the "42" model.
