I would suggest to you to look again closely at SW2,  sec-2 (front)  at
the connection going from this switch to R34 and R35 and back to SW2,
sec-1 (front).

This appears to be the path of the signal to the volume control when in
the three problem selectivity switch positions.

Make sure the two resistors are not open.

Have you changed any of the old capacitors in the set?
