[Hallicrafters] 50 KHz Signal generators (Audio)

Thanks for all the ideas.  For some reason an audio generator never occurred
to me as something that would work.  In my mind audio and RF are two
different things.  I guess I need to lock myself in a closet and think about
it for awhile ;<)
I would appreciate it if someone would explain why it works to use an audio
generator.
