Thanks to everyone who took the time to post their thoughts and feelings. I will say this, some of you have brought up some fantastic packing ideas that I'd never thought of and if, and I do mean if, I ever ship a radio again, I will incorporate some of your ideas. Hank, you are absolutely correct, how you pack the item determines how it will arrive, that is the bottom line period. One gentleman has emailed me stating that he "might" have a spare cabinet to replace my damaged one. That made my day, really, and to that man, I say thanks. The binding posts are going to be another story, I think they will be much harder to find. I must say that since I've joined this Hallicrafters group, I've learned a lot, a lot about radios in particular and a lot of info on restoring them, keeping those tubes glowing. It's almost as if this group is one huge family, that is the feeling that I get. Well friends, I know that I will sleep much better now. Take care and thanks again, each and every one of you! regards, Mike
