[Hallicrafters] HT-32A problem

I would check the heterodyne oscillator. It has been
my experience with various Hallicrafters units
including receivers and transmitters, that the 10
meter crystal(s) seem to either change frequency
drastically, or, go bad. Also, I have found quite a
few that required readjustment of the oscillator coil.
However, I have also found that this adjustment is
VERY critical to get the crystal to oscillate every
time you select that particular band.
