[GreenKeys] 28V MITE Myth or Real ?

The outer part of the rotor in a Mite motor is hard steel. The motor is
capacitor start and run two pole, and is wound to bring everything close
to saturation. It starts as an induction motor, and as it approaches
synchronism the rotor becomes magnetized and locks in to synchronous
speed. Motors of this design run hot and are of poor efficiency.
