I understand where you are coming from.
However if you read the msds or even the drugs your doctor passes out, you
would find it hard to use anything.
Still I try to use products for what they are designed for and started many
years ago to use some rubber ( or what ever) gloves when dealing with most
common products like the mix I to clean guns and other parts with. They
probably are not too dangerous, but no use in taking chances.

Hi Ralph:
Not to be a doom sayer, but if they suggest an organic respirator while
using, I'm not using it on machinery where a lot is used. Especially a
spray.
VOCs are nasty.
Health effects include eye, nose, and throat irritation; headaches, loss of
coordination, nausea; and damage to the liver, kidney, and central nervous
system. Some organics can cause cancer in animals; some are suspected or
known to cause cancer in humans. Key signs or symptoms associated with
exposure to VOCs include conjunctival irritation, nose and throat
discomfort, headache, allergic skin reaction, dyspnea, declines in serum
cholinesterase levels, nausea, vomiting, nose bleeding, fatigue, dizziness.
They say it is for locks - use it on locks. And for locks I still swear by
graphite. :-))
Just my 2 cents.
