Not to be a doom sayer, but if they suggest an organic respirator while using, I'm not using it on machinery where a lot is used. Especially a spray.

VOCs are nasty.

Health effects include eye, nose, and throat irritation; headaches, loss of coordination, nausea; and damage to the liver, kidney, and central nervous system. Some organics can cause cancer in animals; some are suspected or known to cause cancer in humans. Key signs or symptoms associated with exposure to VOCs include conjunctival irritation, nose and throat discomfort, headache, allergic skin reaction, dyspnea, declines in serum cholinesterase levels, nausea, vomiting, nose bleeding, fatigue, dizziness.

They say it is for locks - use it on locks. And for locks I still swear by graphite.  :-))

Unless someone can read more into it than I can, the msds is useless to
determine what may be in it.  About everything listed in it is labeled
proprietary blend of base oils.  I had looked at another msds for it the
other day and found the same thing.

The companies should be required to list the proprietary chemicals even if
not how much of each it contains.

The only thing in it I could recognize was the propane that propels it out
of the can.
