[GreenKeys] FedEx Ground Surcharges notice

Some on-topic FedEx bashing:

I have both FedEx and UPS accounts, of many years' standing.

Recently I offered some related items to the List, and a well-known
Listmember spoke up for them. I printed a label and into FedEx Ground
they went. I have a FedEx office nearby (sorta - 23 miles) - not a
"FEDEX Office" [ex-Kinko's] but a real staffed office - I like to hand
packages off to the folks who actually have custody of them. So okay.

I dropped them off at 9:30 AM, and got a 'package delivered' notice at
about 3:30.  WooHoo! 11 pounds to North Carolina in 6 hours for $35!

It is also worth noting here that FedEx, FedEx Ground, and FedEx Home
Delivery are separate companies, absorbed as semi-autonomous entities,
but not actually 'real' FedEx.

Knowing what the 1-800 folks were gonna say, I hauled back down to the
place I dropped it off - they were nice enough to give me an internal
number for the Ground folks, who, after much clicking and beeping, told
me that a delivery driver had mistakenly placed my box onto a pallet
bound for a firm south of me, and had given it to them. And they had,
rather than throwing it out or just storing it, taken the box to a
nearby FedEx Express office, who of course had no idea what to do with
it as it was Ground. I'm told now that it's "on a trailer" bound in that
general direction, but until it's scanned at a distro center, it's going
to show as 'delivered'.

Sigh.  Gonna be seeing much more of Brown I think....
