[GreenKeys] Model 26

Hello! I have a new email account and a new toy to play with..... a Model 26 teletype. From what I can tell the machine is intact but in need of a lot of cleaning. With help from Zach I was able to understand how to take the typing unit off the keyboard, now I need to know if I can just put the entire keyboard in a solution of cleaner to soak for awhile.... what to protect? I would guess with the typing unit the selector magnets would be the only thing needing protection but will hold off all of these actions until I hear from some of you guys as to how to proceed. Thanks for the help and I will post my progress as I attempt to get this old girl up and running again!
