[GreenKeys] LPW 300 paper winder

I just looked mine over very carefully and did not see any model number, etc. Every square inch of the various
metal surfaces is free of any kind of marking. I did not take the cover off of the motor area, though. This one
is a nice blue color and it appears to be a 'factory' thing. Everything but the bail is this blue color. It has
a short, (14"?) cable coming out of it with two spade lugs on the ends of the wires. Just about long enough to
get inside the cabinet and to the 110VAC connections in the back-right area of the cabinet.

New, related subject:

Several years back, someone noted that there are a lot of the various paper winders that DO NOT have the display
bail available. Someone was going to investigate the possibility of making a dozen or so and making them available
to G/K people. I guess I didn't pay attention, if this happened, since I don't remember any further mentions of
this idea.

Wonder if anyone remembers this?

Thanks,

Ralph - W8ROI

There is a bail-operated mercury switch to shut off the motor when the paper gets tight. Maybe with the resistor in there, it didn't have enough torque to pull the bail tight enough to shut its self off??
