[GreenKeys] on-off radio teletype (not FSK)

The "vanes" are on the front of the Mod. 15 printer and transfer the signals to the type bars.
 
Attached is the poem (fixed) suitable for framing. :-))

This reminds me of something that's been bothering me. In the spoof of 
Poe's "The Raven" (I must transcribe it soon), there is the line:

 "By a legal waiver granted, with thy sixth bane firmly canted"

It's a poor scan so that "bane" could be "vane" I guess, but what would 
that mean?
