A former work colleague was an early employee of Courier Terminal 
Systems in Phoenix, a maker of CRT terminals.  Evidently they offered a 
MITE printer as an accessory as he ended up with one, and brought it in 
to work to see if anyone could fix it.  A couple of us fiddled with it 
but had no luck because we had no idea what we were doing, and then one 
day I noticed it was gone and asked him what happened to it.   He said 
he figured it was hopeless and took it back home, but his wife saw it in 
the truck and nixed that idea, so he took it out to an area where guys 
went to shoot and used it as a target to sight in his rifle.
