[GreenKeys] Info needed

If you were really "RTTY cool", you had a code wheel that would
automatically send your CW ID with very narrow shift. Fair Radio
sold
a military gadget (KY65 Keyer?) that had a programmable code wheel
and
28VDC motor. An article in CQ showed how to modify it for
use as a RTTY ID.

GA OMs;
The "cheap & easy" way to send the CW ID was to use the BLANK key
as a DASH, and the LTRS key as a DIT.
Yes, if you were running pictures it would embed those characters
into the picture but since they were non-printing it wasn't a big
deal.
If you want to hear how it sounds, listen to your outgoing signal
and then hit the LTRS key a few times and then the BLANK key. When
you get the feel, try sending your callsign. :-)
Oh - and if you were a 2-lander, you got a bonus because if you
used the LINE FEED key it would give you TWO DITS (of course, you
couldn't do that during a picture).
