The catalogs I always enjoyed were the old Fair Radio Sales ones with the
Dymo label maker tape for the headings, and printed in purple to look
like a bad mimeograph copy.

I bought the combination phone, speaker phone, quick dialer and modem
from DAK. And I signed up for "The Source."

I was hoping to find equipment manuals for some of the surplus test
equipment I'd bought, but all I ever got was unsolicited email from guys
back east wanting to know if I had pictures of my naughty bits I could
mail them.

I told them I'd trade for a copy of the operating and service manual for
for a Polarad Spectrum Analyzer. Never head back from any of them. ;-)
