Hi all...

Jim, re: yr problem w/character cut-off on printing on yr
M28. You may also want to check the vertical lock lever
on each side of the typebox positioning rail...When each
of the four rows of the typebox are "Lifted" into position
by the rail, it is important that the lock lever extension(s)
on the vertical positioning arms are fully seated/detented for
each row selection. Your mention of the type pallets being
struck above dead centre is an indication of this adjustment
being off. If it is off on both sides, I wud suspect typebox
clutch slippage and/or disk adjustment mite be the culprit.

I don't. know what speed yr running, but if at 100WPM, the
problem wud be aggravated...
