Ed, 

That has been the problem in the past.  In addition, many places charge a minimum of hundreds of dollars for any work. I posted the  162669 gear information so that everyone has the information that I was able to gather. Maybe, one day, we will find a hobbyist with the proper tools who can make a quantity of these gears and fulfill the "backlog"

Russ - This is the  infamous  missing pinion  gear...
right!?
 
What is  the cost  of  gear  making......? My experience  is  gear making is on the pricey  side..
