Alf G3WSD, Read your message on Greenkeys, I'm not a prospective seller of a Creed 444, sorry about that, just thought I'd say hi from a sultry Perth WA. I worked in International Telegraphs Birmingham for 20-odd years, we had those infernal 444's for  the last death throes of the international telegraph service. They were awful machines to work on, we only used 'em for the 5-unit tape. The predecessors used were the Creed 45 perforators, you could really crack along        speed-wise as long as you kept a loop in the tape to the auto TX, it would transmit all day long without a break.
I have Siemens T100's with plenty of 5-unit tape and telex rolls, life is good !!
