I had one with the same ailment probably 12 years ago. I gave up. Put the thing by the curb for the garbage men to take away. They wouldn't take it. After a few garbage days went by, I finally taped a $20 bill to it. And it finally went.

Subject: [GreenKeys] UGC-74A melted rollers
I have a ugc-74a that is really nice except for the liquid that ran down the paper and into the feed system. The liquid used to be the rubber coating on the roller that is chain driven to pull the paper through.
I am about to disassemble and remove the printer assembly to get the paper out of where it is stuck in the bottom.
Any tips or hints? (other than throw it away)
