The specifications at "jptronics" specifically mention "dual-channel"
operation. Knobs on the front of the equipment are labeled "Channel A"
and "Channel B". The date on the jptronics specification is 1952.
Obviously, the 'cold-war' is underway. The Russians had dual channel
equipment in widespread use starting in the 50's (I dragged NSA
equipment designed to intercept it out of the NSA's dump at Ft. Meade in
the late 60's). The FRF would have been equivalent to the Russian
equipment.
I've been in communication with the seller. They have multiple "pallets
of surplus gov. equipment" dating from the 1940's "in the back of the
warehouse". Could be anything, as they've been in business for 72 years.
More to come..
