OK, Charles, now there are two of us.   Actually, there should be many more 
since this was a topic that the League promoted but I guess not......

Yes, those Desk Fax machines are the ones in my shed.   And I don't think I 
want to set up to try a QSO---simply too many things I want to do that 
actually make sense!   But I never had any trouble with actual photo images. 
They were certainly of quality comparable to the old AP wirefax of the 
40s-50s.
