[GreenKeys] ST 8000 Boot-up Sequence

Lou -- (forgot to post my reply to the reflector earlier) -- now
that's a different problem that I hadn't heard before. Even if the
NVRAM chip were dead the only thing that would go wrong would be that
the unit doesn't remember the settings you have input for the
different memory channels.
If no one else chimes in with any suggestions I recommend you contact
Marth Prather WB9HFK at Hal....Mark has helped many of us with
problems. In the meanwhile I'll pull out my service manual and see
if there's anything there that might lead you to the problem.
