A friend of mine just acquired a Model 28 KSR as a sort of retirement gift on
his second retirement. The machine was reported working when it was last used
some 20 years ago in ham RTTY service. He gave it a general clean up and lubed
the moving parts he thought appropriate. But on local loop it only prints
garble. Both the printer and the keyboard also print garble when in a loop with
a M15. My friend is fairly TTY proficient being able to keep M14 reperfs and
M15’s working, but doesn’t know where to go with the new beast. Is there
anywhere that manuals for the 28 can be downloaded?
