I find the interaction of all those parts working together is more than 
fascinating.  The noise, oily smell and rythm of these machines makes me 
wonder over and over again about the guys who designed them, then set up the 
production of all those parts and thence the people who assembled them. 
What satisfaction in getting into one and making it work 
again....electro-mechanical...great stuff.

No computer holds that kind of people-history.  Even my grandkids who are 
computer savy marvel at these machines....and want them for themselves.  I 
know where my stuff is going  LOL
