To which I say "no loss".

TV was declared a "vast wasteland" back in the 1960's by Kennedy's FCC 
chairman.  the only change since then?  We now have 1,000 channels of 
nothing compared to a handful back then.

Going dark would do society a favour... get them back to books, 
families, and communities.
