Sheesh. If I'd known this stuff would become this much of a mess - I 
wouldn't have supplied that material in the first place.

As most of the schematics CLEARLY note - they are SIMPLIFIED schematics, 
not technically precise, nor complete.

Those pages came from a Navy *general* training manual intended ONLY to 
give new, junior electronics personnel a broad, general overview   of 
Navy communications equipment of the times (late 1960s early 1970s). 
Those pages are NOT from a technical document such as a service manual, 
or such; they are NOT intended to be relied upon for strict technical 
information. Some of the information may be incomplete, out of date, or 
worse.

I thought that some information on Navy patch panels, etc. might be 
useful to some, perhaps serve as a seed for projects, and such. However 
it seems to be causing more confusion, etc. than good. I regret having 
made them available, and request that Nick consider removing them from 
his site. Perhaps we can eventually find a "real" technical manual to 
post that won't be such a problem.
