[GreenKeys] ST-8000A threshhold

Some time ago there was some discussion on this reflector (I think it 
involved Bill Henry) about adjusting the threshold on the ST-8000A. I 
usually keep those emails, but I missed that one.
My ST-8000A prints garbage on any noise, and I'm missing in the manual 
any way to adjust the threshold. It's not a matter of pulling down the 
volume on the radio - I'm taking the audio from the accessory jack which 
has a constant level.
For background, I'm using DS-RTTY-Win, a computer, the ST-8000A, and an 
Icom 7700.
If anyone has been through this, I would appreciate your suggestions.
