The Teletype parts manual for Model 28 cabinets lists at least a
dozen available colors, including "pink". I had a Model 28ASR that
was glossy beige. Bell 28's went through several color variations;
early ones had a green wrinkle finish; the later 28's had the more-
familiar "orange peel" gray-green color. Most of the WU 28's I have
seen were the same Bell gray-green. If a machine has multi-color
pieces, it was cobbled together. The only variation I have seen was a
WU Model 28ASR that had a non-Teletype Corp. TD head on it.
The wrap-around metal for that TD was WU's "pea green"
color.
