Yes, there is a rtty contest going on this weekend and there is plenty of
rtty from around 14.080 to 14.100 or so. Also copied some on the 15 meter
band. Everything I have for rtty in down now inclucing the computer in the
radio room. I got in an Icom 746pro a few days ago and it will decode rtty
to the display.

If all you have in the receiver is an usb filter you can always go to usb
and set the demodulator for reverse shift if it will do that.

I have the modle 19 rtty but have not hooked it up in a long time . The
st-6 I have has some problem and I have not had time to fix it. Moved about
3 years ago and I am just now getting the station back together. I did make
a few rtty contacts with the computer sound card setup. That is ok if you
want to play with a computer but I still like the noise of the mechanical
printer, especially when someone is sending the pix and I also have the old
reperf going. Guess that I was lucky in that I had a house with a single
carport that was enclosed so the machine was out of the maim part of the
house. Now I have it in a basement so should not be too much noise going
upstairs. The computer will allow one to get on if in a house or apartment
where the noise must be held down. Might as well run psk31 if doing that .
One good thing if you want to call it that is that if you can not touch type
you can set up the canned messages and send them out and it looks good.
Beats installing a bunch of 'brag' tapes in the TD unit.
