Howdy folks,

I turned on 14.080 to hear something called CQ BARG or something like it. 
Tried to call some but they weren't interested.  I guess it's some kind of 
contest.  Couldn't find anyone just QSO'ing.

Judging by the frantic pace, it's probably all glass machines with canned 
monologue.  The problem with my is the AN/UGC-74B is one key at a time :>)

I was copying with the Dovetron directly into the TTY using Mil-188.  The 
GRC-106A is starting to show its age.  First audio output failed, took apart 
the exciter/receiver and re-inserted a bunch of modules....that helped. 
Then, the scope tube failed, it is new, and I used the discriminator meter. 
But, with that USB filter in the receiver, it's impossible to tune.

Guess I'll take apart the MD-522 now and see what happened to the picture 
tube.....hmmmm, I wonder if glass is more fun/less trouble.  No probably 
not.  It doesn't have that hot oil smell.
