still choking on that idea.
I am sure he wants his stuff to return but . . . . .

I have info on the RMCA AR-8505. This is a TRF LV/VLF marine 
receiver with
octal tubes used on ships.  It was also known as the military RAZ.. 
If
this is anything like what you have, I'll be glad to forward the 
info I have.
