Dave,
I could (but won't) give numerous examples proving that ain't so. eBay
doesn't treat sellers any better than they do buyers. More often than not, it'
tends to be the other way around. Their bottom line interest is only in making
money. Every sale requires a seller and a buyer. Which one technically pays
the fees is really immaterial to them. However, actual fraud can cost them
money, so generally they would prefer to supress it.
