Hi John,

Yes, I am familiar with the curved metal arch and pointer and thumbscrew.  I 
am learning what it is capable of doing.  This is what I wanted to hear: "sets 
where the pulse train actually syncs up with the mechanical parts."  
Electrical to mechanical.  Got it!

Thanks a bunch for the TT and TM numbers.  I put a big red felt pen box 
around this paragraph.  I have seen some of these manuals on ebay, but who knows 
what is in them.  Now I know.  If someone has a copy at least I know what to ask 
for.  Valuable information for the beginner.
