there should be a plug in the back of the rig, in the accessory socket. This
plug has a jumper in it, and if the jumper and/or the plug is not plugged in
it will not supply any power to the tubes.

Subject: [Fox_Tango] Need advice re no output on FT-101
Hello: I am new to the list. I have a FT-101, serial number below 25,000.
I go this rig new in the box about 5 years ago and have not used it much.
Somebody actually bought it when it was new and never opened it, and then
traded it into Henry Amps in California and I bought it from one of the
workers there.
Anyway, I had used the rig before with no problems, but I had not used it
for about a year or so, and set it up and turned it on and the receive works
great. I then turned on the Heater switch and the tubes did not light up
nor did I get any signs of life from them.On IC the meter shows no sign of
life. Obviously, without the tubes lighting up, I was not surprised.
Thinking that I had fried the tubes in the past, although I could not
remember doing that, I ordered new tubes and put them in. I flipped the
switch and still no life.
The relay works but there is no signs of life to the tubes. . Before I send
it away to be looked at, any ideas?
Thanks, Joe N8TI
