[Fists] USING THE Q-SIGNAL QRL? DUMMY LOADS ANYONE?

I agree with you Eric. I believe that QRL is the best way to check. 
ESPECIALLY on bands like 20 meters when it may appear the freq is clear, but 
in reality it is not. What gets me is that often you will call QRL a couple 
of times, hear no answer, start your call, but the freq IS busy. Just noone 
responded to the QRL. I guess in these days "Q" sigs are going to have to be 
part of the training we have to pass on. Most ops take them for granted. A 
feller should wait a couple after calling QRL? also. I have heard many who 
call QRL, wait 10 milliseconds, then go on with the CQ. I am old and can't
