Sorry to have to put you through three attempt to get these minutes to 
you.  Trial one and two used an .RTF attachment only to find out the 
mail server automatically strips that type of file from the e-mail.  The 
suggested file format to use a .PDF file didn't work either.  Even 
though using a reasonable sized .PDF file of just over 32.6k, that 
exceeded the mail servers limitation of 40k.  I regularly generate .PDF 
files and have never seen one less than 32k.

So now you'll get the minutes inside the e-mail.

Frederick Amateur Radio Club (FARC) Minutes for November 15, 2010

_Meeting:_  The club meeting was called to order at approximately 7:05 
pm by President Jeff Fishman - KB3FIO.

_Minutes: _ There were no minutes for October 18, 2010

_New Licenses and/or Upgrades: _ None

Treasurer Report:  The treasurer report by Joe Durnal - N3ER included 
donations to FARC from the sale of code keys and one sounder. No 
specific monetary statistics were recorded by me as fill-in secretary, 
Herb Palm - K3HCP.

_New Member Application(s):_  A new member application for Leonard 
Keepers - KB3NL was voted on and accepted.

_Old or Ongoing Business:_

- K3ERM Club Station Status - The club antenna still needs to be fixed.  
No specific details were recorded.

- Skywarn Updates by Jim Ridgley - N3HTA - The Loudoun County Office of 
Emergency Management will host a  National Weather Service Skywarn 
Winter Storm Course on December 16, 2010 at the Sterling, VA facility.

- www.wx4lwg.org  reports there will be a Skywarn Recognition Day (SRD) 
will be here at NWS  Baltimore/Washington for 24 hours - from 7pm Friday 
Dec 3rd until 7pm Saturday  Dec 4, 2010.  Find out more by using the 
link above.

- Emergency Management Office -Clarence "Chip" Jewell will give us a 
contact number to call at some future time.  This time was not determined.

_New Business:_

- Election of Officers will be on January 17, 2011

- Our annual Holiday Party will be on December 20, 2010 at a place yet 
to be determined.  Look for an e-mail on the reflector.

- Ares Balloon Tracking was done at the Carroll County Fairground on 
October 24, 2010 to a reported altitude of over 63,000 feet ultimately 
landing in Delaware, as reported thanks to Jim Ridgley - N3HTA.

- FARC Amateur Radio Equipment has been updated by Mark Whitmore - AS3KS 
and is available to be borrowed by FARC members.

- Upcoming Ham Fests in this area will be in Odenton in January, 2011 
and in Vienna in February, 2011.

_This Month's Program:_

- Stu Benner - W3STU presented his interesting and informative program 
on "Bonding/Grounding and RFI".
