Fellow radio people:

Well, the time has come for me to "thin the herd" a little, and first to
go are some of my <large> collection of FRS and/or GMRS handhelds.

Item #1: A pair of Motorola Talkabout T5950 radios. Specs:

    * 7 GMRS/FRS 1 watt Channels (shared use channels)
    * 7 FRS 1/2 watt Channels
    * 8 GMRS 1 watt Channels
    * 99 Interference Eliminator Codes
    * 1W Transmit Power (see above)
    * 10 Audible Call Tones
    * Talk Confirmation Tone
    * Keypad Lock
    * Backlit Display
    * Time Out Timer
    * Transmit LED
    * Removable Swivel Belt Clip
    * Battery Meter Indicator - with Audible Low Battery Alert
    * lets you talk hands-free - when used with or without accessories
    * QT Noise Filter
    * Priority Scan
    * Nuisance Delete (Scan)
    * Manual Advance (Scan)
    * Audio Accessory Connector (Single Pin)
    * VibraCall® Alert
    * NOAA Weather Channels (note, there is no SAME capability)
    * Voice Activation (vox)

These nice little bright-yellow radios can either be run on three AA
cells or the <included> NiCD packs. I don't know how good these packs
are anymore, so please note that. Replacement packs are available online
from various sources. I am including the one-piece recharger unit that
charges both radios simultaneously and holds them in a nice upright
position. I don't think I have the manual anymore, but it too is
available online as a .pdf.

These radios are still available from online sources, usually without
the battery packs or charger, for anywhere between $75 and $100.

I'm asking $40 for the pair, with all accessories, as described above.
First caller gets them!

Thanks for your patience reading this... regards,

Dave Lufkin KB3JRJ
