Emcomm Team and interested hams,

Beginning this spring, Frederick and Washington counties will have increased 
participation in Skywarn activations through a subnet on the Madxra 147.060 
repeater. If you have not already taken  the Basics 1 Skywarn Class, it will 
be given this Sat., March 22, from 0900 to 1200 in Winchester, VA. For those 
who would like to act as a Net Control operator, there is a Net Control 
class also on 3/22, at the same Winchester location. There is still space in 
both classes. To sign up, contact Alan Moeck (540-869-1117 or email at 
astronomical1 at comcast.net)  by this Fri. afternoon and give him your name, 
address, ph. #, the class you would like to take, and your spotter ID # (if 
you have one).
